Tonight will be the opening of some of the senior thesis shows on campus. If you’re in the Sarasota area its definitely worth checking out. Photogrphy will be in the Selby Gallery, and I must say that it looks great.

I am so happy to be seeing my work hung. Jessica’s framing downtown did an amazing job framing my prints and they look glorious hung up, exactly what I had invisioned.

Its time to see where the rest of my life takes me but in the meantime….

ADVENTURE IS OUT THERE!

check it out!

Well Thesis has been underway, and I will be posting the final pictures to my website and Behance portfolio soon come the end of the semester. So stay posted! Other then that I have been working on branding and leave behinds and my website re-do.

Senioritis is kicking in :(

I recently shot my boy Alex. My friend Ximena needed some posters for her Thesis film so I helped her out to get these shots so she could have her heart throb poster, I don’t know about you guys, but Alex is looking mighty sexy in these!

Life is grand. Classes have begun without a hitch and my final year in college is in full swing. Lets just say that I cannot wait to see where life takes me. Keep a look out for new work as they are created.

Right now I’ve finished a soundscape and am working on a several month long project of gathering memories into a memory box. stay tuned!

GO NOW!

So lets see… in my last post I mentioned that I would be going to Montreal and visiting Cirque Du Soleil. It was hands down, the top most incredible experience of my life (neck in neck with petting a penguin). Having the time of our lives with my group, teacher and college president; being toured around and given inside scoops to things that I cant go into for confidentiality reasons, living with performers, clubbing with an extremely fun group of people working for CRIP, exploring everything we could in the time we had in Montreal. I have to say that after spending only 3 days there, I fell in love with everything there was about Montreal, the people, the languages, the surroundings, the food, the lifestyle, everything. You can definitely bet that I will be returning there somehow someday, who knows maybe as a new member of the Cirque family :)

In other news I have kick started my internship with Erik Kellar here in Naples, FL. So far things have been going great, we have a lot of shoots planned in the near future including my first wedding this saturday!

Also some great news, I was offered a position as a Resident Assistant for the summer program for high school students here at Ringling College called Pre-College. I had wanted to become an RA for this coming school year but things didn’t work out, so I am definitely excited to be given this opportunity. So if any of you are in the SRQ area and would like to get together for a shoot I will be back in my “natural habitat” once again!

One last thing I want to share is this great lesson that I have learned after going through an extremely rough patch in my life and has become an ongoing process of reflection and of allowing myself to live the way I am living instead of holding myself back because of fear or anger or sadness. ”Everything happens for a reason. People change so you learn to let them go, things go wrong so you learn to appreciate them when they go right, you believe lies so you learn to trust only yourself and sometimes good things fall apart, so that better things fall together.”

do what makes you happy my friends and don’t get bogged down by life’s curve-balls because as long as you are still living life, those things will find you and change everything when you least expect it…

but also don’t be afraid to cry.
